An entertainer’s dream

To help you level up your hosting skills, and create an Insta-worthy cheeseboard, we find the following tips useful:

1. Choose your board or base – while we usually automatically go for a wooden board, why not think outside the box and try a slate or marble tray, and experiment with different sizes and shapes.
2. Add your cheeses placed strategically across the base – try to include a variety of flavours and textures.
3. Add your cured meats – some standard favourites are prosciutto, salami and chorizo, and rolling the slices of meat before placing down creates a visually appealing feature.
4. Add your savoury items – we love the inclusion of olives, pickles, roasted peppers and nuts to balance the sweeter flavours on the board.
5. Add your sweet items – fresh fruit such as strawberries, grapes or blueberries are a crowd favourite, while chocolate will always be a winner!
6. Add some bread – Choosing a variety of crackers or bread sticks allows your guests to compliment other ingredients.
7. Garnish – sprigs of rosemary or edible flowers will add the perfect finishing touch and wow your guests!

Don’t forget to include plenty of cheese knives, toothpicks, napkins or plates!
