Orders placed after 11th December: Our custom signs and decals are made to order. However due to Christmas manufacturing closures, our usual 5-10 business day turnaround is currently unavailable. All custom signs and decals ordered after midnight Thursday 11th December will be dispatched from mid January 2026.
Ordering custom sign with an in-stock item? If you order a custom sign or decal with an 'in stock' item after the 11th December, we will split your order and ship your 'in stock' item within our usual dispatch time of 24-48 hours, and your custom sign or decal will then be dispatched when available from mid January 2026.
Ordering custom sign with a pre-order item? If you order a custom sign or decal with a 'pre-order' item after the 11th December, please refer to the individual product listing or your order confirmation email for an estimated time of dispatch for your 'pre-order' item, and your custom sign or decal will be dispatched from mid January 2026

FAQs
How long will it take to make my custom decal?
As our custom decals and house signs are made to order, they can take up to 10 business days to be completed and ready for shipping or collection.
A design proof is created based off your order and sent for re-approval in house, artwork is run through a decal cutting machine (if a sign, this would then be applied to the plaque), quality checks are conducted again, then the product is packed safely to ensure safe delivery to your door.
We appreciate your patience waiting for your customised product – we know you will love it!
What size custom decal will suit my letterbox?
Each custom decal listing has our top product recommendations for compatible letterboxes for each style.
If you are unsure if your desired decal will fit on your letterbox, please reach out to our team at support@milkcan.com.au with the decal and letterbox you're interested in (or even your current letterbox dimensions) and we can either confirm or provide recommendations for you.
Can you install my decal onto my letterbox before shipping?
Unfortunately, we do not install the decals to letterboxes before shipping to you.
These products are all easy to DIY install/attach to ensure that you are happy with correct placement on your letterbox.
You will find detailed instructions on how to attach these on the packaging of your decal when you receive it.
Can I buy decals to install onto my concrete letterbox?
We do not recommend a decal for a concrete letterbox, as it can be hard to stick to the rougher surface of concrete.
We suggest a custom house sign for our concrete letterboxes – we especially love the stainless-steel house signs paired with our concrete letterboxes with stainless steel faceplates.
Can I please add extra numbers or letters to my decal even though I am over the max limit?
Unfortunately, the character limit shown on each product is the maximum that is able to fit on that decal.
We do recommend abbreviating words if needed, eg. Road to Rd or Street to St.
Our live preview feature allows you to easily try multiple combinations to ensure you are happy with the placement and wording prior to placing your order.
