These Terms and Conditions set out the terms of the agreement between you (the customer) and Milkcan. By using our website you unreservedly accept these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy, and you agree that your use of our website, including any purchase of goods from us, is subject to the terms thereof.

These Terms and Conditions cannot be varied without our written consent. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions and contact us if you have any particular questions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use our website in any manner.

Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website thereafter constitutes your agreement to all such changed Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions before placing an order online and check back often.

We will not be liable if for any reason if our website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may need to restrict access to our website (wholly or partly). We aim to update our website regularly and may change content at any time. We will endeavour to ensure our website contains accurate information and content however, we reserve the right to update our website as soon as an inaccuracy or error is brought to our attention.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for your own access to our website. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who accesses our website through your Internet connection are aware of these Terms and Conditions, and that they comply with them.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, trade marks and copyright) in our website, and in the material published on it (including, without limitation, its look and feel, brands, logos and trade marks, information, graphics, photographs, content, images, sounds, video, audio, text, layout, logos, button icons and the compilation and organisation thereof, and all intellectual property rights contained therein). Those works, are, protected by intellectual property laws around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You must not scrape or modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off, downloaded or extracted in any way, and you must not use any content separately from any accompanying text. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our website must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the materials on our website, services or e-commerce facilities for commercial purposes without obtaining a license to do so from us. If you print off, copy or download any part of our website in breach of these Terms and Conditions, your right to use our website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made. You are not permitted to copy, publish or use any of the content in any way, whether personal or commercial, without our prior written permission.

All prices on our website are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice at any time. All payments must be received in full prior to product dispatch from our warehouse.

By subscribing to our mailing list or registering to be notified when a product is back in stock, you are authorising us to send you communications via the email address you provided. Our subscription emails also provide the option for you to opt out at any time via the Unsubscribe link at the end of each email.

Milkcan may occasionally offer promotional codes, which can be promoted via our mailing list subscription, or advertised via our website or social media channels. If you have an active promotional coupon code, you will be prompted to enter the code at checkout, and this will generate a discount from your cart value. To activate, simply enter a valid code then click the “Apply” button. All promotional codes have a unique set of terms and conditions automatically applied when issued. If you are unable to use a valid promotional code despite meeting all the terms and conditions, please contact support@milkcan.com.au.

Unless otherwise specified, coupon codes are not valid for use with any other coupon or offer and are only valid for the specified time frame. Certain products or ranges may be excluded from promotions, and coupon discounts are not valid for previous orders placed prior to the advertised times.

20% off Offer: Receive 20% off a clothesline and/or fire pit when purchasing a letterbox in the same transaction.
a) The clothesline and/or fire pit must be purchased in the same transaction as a letterbox for the discount to be applied.
b) 20% off discount will be applied to the clothesline and/or fire pit only. Discount will not be applied to the letterbox.
c) Discount is not valid on ethanol fire pits, fire pit accessories and clothesline accessories. 

Milkcan will occasionally offer sales sitewide, on new product launches, or particular categories. Sales will also be advertised via our website or social media channels, and will run for a limited time only.

We currently operate and manage multiple social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok. All social media platforms are governed by their own particular terms and conditions of use. Users may choose to share their personal product content and tag Milkcan at their own discretion. In doing so, the user agrees that we may use and reproduce this content in marketing, including sharing on any of our social media channels, on our website or an email to our subscriber mailing list. This may also include customer reviews and testimonials. In this event, we will acknowledge and site your profile/business.

We endeavour to ensure that all the products on our website are accurately described. Unfortunately, on some occasions it is possible that our website will contain errors and we reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies at any time, including after you have placed an order. We endeavour to ensure that all colours are displayed accurately, but you should be aware that colours might appear slightly differently on different displays and screens.

On rare occasions we find ourselves unable to deliver products as they are not of sufficient quality or workmanship, we reserve the right to withdraw remove or edit products from our website at any time. We will not be liable to you or any other third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from our website, whether it has been sold or not, removing or editing any materials or contents on our website or for refusing to process or accept an order after we have sent you the order confirmation.

Stock levels of products are subject to change without notice. If for any reason we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible to amend, cancel or place your order on backorder. If you select to place your order on backorder, the product will be shipped to you as soon as it arrives in stock.

Our custom address signs & decals are made to order. As we endeavour to process all orders as quickly as possible, orders for custom signs and decals are unable to be cancelled once the order has been placed, and once received they cannot be returned for change of mind.

Unfortunately, and despite our best efforts, items are occasionally damaged in transit. The goods you purchase come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your product is faulty, broken or otherwise non-compliant with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law please contact us as soon as possible via our Warranty page here.

The type of remedy we offer will depend upon the circumstances. We may arrange to replace the product (subject to availability), provide you with a partial or full refund of the purchase amount.  If we require you to return the product to us, we will pay the cost of the return.

Damaged or faulty items do not include cases where we deem damage to a product to be due to fair wear and tear, or misuse of already installed products, or failure to use or install products in accordance with installation instructions for said product.

Milkcan reserves the right to cancel or reject an order for any reason, including but not limited to; unavailability of product; an error with pricing; incorrect image or product description; or other such errors deemed applicable to an order.

If we discover an error for any goods you’ve ordered, we will make contact with you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order (at the correct price) or cancelling it. If we can’t get in touch with you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you’ve already paid, we will refund you in full.

In regards to products on pre-order, the estimated shipping date indicated online at your time of purchase should be used as a guide only and may be subject to change. In the event of an extended delay, we will notify you by email.

Our priority is always to get your order to you as quickly, safely and affordably as possible. Although we pride ourselves on our customer service and carefully selected courier providers, purchase protection is an optional benefit for a small, additional fee that can be added by customers at checkout for additional peace of mind and a hassle-free delivery process.

Premium Freight Protection
By selecting ‘Purchase Protection’ at checkout you are providing your parcel with guaranteed protection against loss or damage in transit. This includes express replacement cover and priority support. Have peace of mind knowing that, should your product arrive damaged or lost during transit, you’ll receive a priority replacement so you can enjoy your Milkcan products as soon as possible.

100 Day Returns
You will also receive an extended 100 day returns for change of mind (instead of the standard 30 day returns we offer) – this can be a fantastic option for those who are building their home and may not be ready to install their products just yet.

Purchase Protection is non-refundable.
For 100 day change of mind returns, customers will still need to meet the standard return requirements including products being unused, unassembled and in resaleable condition, and custom items such as house address signs and decals cannot be returned for change of mind. All change of mind returns are shipped back to us at the customers own expense.

We shall not be responsible for any delay, suspension or failure arising out of any circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, governmental actions, shipping, postal or other relevant transport strike, postal theft, failure or accident, lockouts or other labour difficulty, war or national emergency, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, an act or omission of a third party, inability to obtain any necessary materials, equipment, facilities or services, the failure of performance provided by others, interruption of the internet or a website (such as Facebook), or virus, accidents or breakdown of plant, machinery, software, hardware or communication network.
