Frequently asked questions
Do you offer a service to install the letterboxes?
Unfortunately, we only supply the letterboxes, however we do provide easy to follow installation instructions both on our website, and included in each product packaging. Many of our letterboxes have been designed for easy DIY install, otherwise you can contact a local handyman or tradesperson to install it for you.
Can I install this product into a Colorbond fence?
Yes, it can be possible to install our fence letterboxes into a Colorbond fence, however a metal frame may be required for additional support. We recommend you speak to your installer for more tailored advice to your situation.
Do your letterboxes match Colourbond fencing?
We use our own specific colour finishes on our letterboxes, however we do have several colours similar to Colourbond colours.
Powder coat steel letterboxes:
Black – similar to ‘Night Sky’
Charcoal – similar to ‘Monument’
Silver – similar to ‘Windspray’
White – similar to ‘Dover White’
Concrete pillars:
Black: 90% match to Monument
Grey: 75% match to Monument
Light Grey: 50% match to Shale Grey
Mocca: 50% match to Dune
White: 50% match to Dover White
Can I install your fence letterboxes horizontally?
Yes, you are able to install fence letterboxes horizontally, however please be mindful of how the front and/or rear doors will open once positioned this way.
If I damaged my lock, how do I replace it?
If you have damaged your combination or key lock, you can purchase a replacement here.
Once you receive your new lock, please follow the below instructions to install:
- Unscrew lock nut
- Push barrel of lock through the lock hole
- Screw the lock nut back onto the barrel to secure in place
- Unscrew screw at end of barrel
- Attach locking arm/cam to end of barrel and secure using the screw
