Not everyone is handy with installation, that is why Milkcan has designed our products so they can be easily installed by anyone. Even if you are not installing them yourself, your helpful buddy will be thankful you bought a Milkcan product making the installation a breeze.

In Ground Installation

What you will need:

• Concrete mix (make sure not to use quick set)
• Shovel
• Bucket
• Spirit Level

Step 1: Assemble your letterbox

Step 2: Dig a hole 30cm deep

Step 3: Mix concrete with water in bucket

Step 4: Fill 10cm of hole with concrete mix and place letterbox in hole

Step 5: Use spirit level to ensure the letterbox is vertical

Step 6: Fill remainder of hole with concrete mix

Using the optional ExtendAPost

If you feel the height of your letterbox is too low, install your letterbox with the Extenda Post. The ExtendAPost provides an extra 300mm to the height of your letterbox.

Attach the Extenda Post to the bottom of your letterbox post and install as per usual. The Extenda Post will sit below the surface, so you don’t have to worry about the colour of the post.
